2010 Fashion Round up - no.5 - Emma Watson

This year the actress, style icon, and Burberry poster girl has distinguished herself from just another child star to a sophisticated fashionista with huge potential. Whether rocking the red carpet, or casual in jeans and a top, Emma undoubtedly never fails to impress in the fashion stakes.

Her new pixie haircut was said to transfer her from girl to women, leading her to be cited on Vogue's Top 10 Dressed List of 2010. She explained to the magazine: “for nine years I was contractually obliged not to cut my hair, not to tan. All the normal things girls do." “Her new short hair has freshened up her look from the Harry Potter image, the cute girl in a prom dress. Now she looks like she means business; this new elfin look has given her some serious red carpet cred,” reported Vogue.com.

The appeal to Emma is, despite being a megastar in her own right, she remains grounded, admitting the title of a style icon makes her 'feel nervous'. Nonetheless, it doesn't seem to stop her pulling out some show-stopping looks. Here are my top 3:

Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer dress and Charlotte Olympia heels

Burberry Bespoke Trench and Burberry bag

Again, Burberry dress!

Proving youth isn't always beneficial!
