Hiking boots continued.... the full look
I love them worn with knee high socks, especially the ones with a girly bow, which can be seen just peeping over the top of the boot. River Island have some lovely ones at the moment, but I also got some in Primark for just £2 - perfect if youre on a budget. Again, the key colours are the neutral ones - camel, grey, brown and black. Look out for the details - lumberjack lacing, buckles, straps, and chunky soles are right on trend. Play around with proportions too, try adding chunky oversized sweaters, tailored coats, and cigarette pants for a more formal office look. I also teamed mine with a short dress and bare legs for a night out, but equally they look just as cute with a jumper and leggings. One word of warning though - despite being comfier than your usual stiletto heel for a night out, they are not quite comfy enough for a shopping trip, as I found out last weekend. Stick to your Uggs for that one - trust me, your feet will thank you!
The Peter Som look with tights and shorts is my fave. Want to copy that this weekend! :)
